David Endacott-Hicks, is the Artistic Director and the President of the Board at The Lyric Rose Theatre. He was born and spent his early years in California and is an Alumni of Nevada Union High School where he was very active in Theatre Arts and the Baggett Choir Program, under Don and Rod Baggett. He completed a Bachelor's of Music from the University of the Pacific, Conservatory of Music and then went on to his graduate training on the East Coast where he attended and studied at the New England Conservatory of Music, as a Vocal Performance major. He has been a Principal Performer on and off Broadway, in East and West Coast National Tours and has performed professionally with several Opera companies.
Some credits include "Lumiere" in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, "Don Ramiro" in La Cenerentola at The Kennedy Center for ACTF, the "Student" in the West Coast Premier of Strawberry Fields, "Tonio" in La Fille Du Regiment with San Francisco Opera’s Opera á la Carte, "Sheldon" in Junie B Jones for Theatreworks USA, “Conte Almaviva” in Il Barbiere di Sivilia with Capital Heights Opera, ”Beppo" in the Bronx Opera's production of Fra Diavolo, "Dr. Blind" in Die Fledermaus with the New Rochelle Opera, "Tinca" in the Garden State Opera's production of Il Tabarro, "Prince Karl Franz" in The Student Prince at The Media Theatre, ”Angelgelt” in Impresario Now at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.
In addition, David has performed in many local and national Commercials, Student Films as well as been a Resident Guest Entertainer throughout the Mediterranean, Baltic, Atlantic and Caribbean. He has performed as a soloist in many ensembles, including two European Tours, in which he was not only a performer but also an Assistant Conductor.
Currently, David in addition to being a working performer and working on all projects for The Lyric Rose Theatre, he is currently taking new students for Voice Instruction, both in person and remote.
